Roy Ayers is my go-to whenever I want to chill out and relax. His music is transcendent, and with classics like "Running Away" and "Everybody Loves The Sunshine", he is one of my heroes in musicianship.
I'm not sure where I read it, but Roy Ayers was apparently doing over 400 gigs a year in his 70s. An insane work ethic!
