"I Am Music" is the epitome of what the Soulquarians were all about. Made up of notable Aquarian musicians such as Questlove from the Roots, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, James Poyser, J Dilla and Common himself, the Soulquarians were an interesting and inspiring collective who shared ideas and worked together on their individual projects. Albums like Mos Def's "Black On Both Sides", the Roots' "Things Fall Apart", Q-Tip's solo-smash "Amplified", and Erykah Badu's "Mama's Gun" were all born from the collective. Imagine how special it must have felt to spend time in the studio with them...
