If you know of Basement Jaxx, then you'll know they lit up the British music scene in the late 90's and early 00's with their knack for merging jazz, bossa nova, and house.
As a 90's kid, I remember "Where's Your Head At" playing pretty much all the time, in every ad break, as one of the CBBC's promotional trailers. That ad as a kid has quite literally been burnt into my brain with a branding iron.
The other thing that's burnt into my memory is the music video for Basement Jaxx's other song, "Do Your Thing". Seeing t-shirts with the lyrics come into shot every other second was just an epic, effectively brilliant, and probably cheap music video to execute.
